THE EMERGING EAT CHALLENGE
Electrified Aircraft Technologies (EAT) are expected to increase demands on EWIS through higher power densities, elevated operating voltages, increased switching frequencies, expanded data bandwidth requirements, and more complex electromagnetic environments.
These evolving requirements may warrant renewed examination of the electrical, mechanical, and thermal assumptions that have historically guided aerospace wiring design. As aircraft systems continue to advance, wiring may be required to contribute not only to connectivity, but also to system performance, operational safety, lifecycle risk management, and overall lifecycle efficiency.
